Reds bounce back with a strong comeback as Brighton and Brentford secure victories

Liverpool survived Mohamed Salah’s penalty miss and Alexis McAllister’s red card to beat Bournemouth 3-1 in the Premier League.

The Cherries took the lead in the third minute thanks to Antoine Semegno, but Luis Diaz equalized before Salah converted the rebound after Neto saved his penalty.

The summer signing of Mac Allister didn’t make much of a difference as Diogo Jota earned the points.

Solly March’s brace helped Brighton climb to the top of the table after kickoff at 15:00 after a convincing 4-1 win over Wolves.

Goals from Kaoru Mitoma and Purvis Estupinan gave the Seagulls the lead, with March scoring twice before substitute Hwang Hee-chan pulled one back for the hosts.

Brian Mbeumo also scored twice to help Brentford to an impressive 3-0 win over Brentford.

Joane Wissa opened the scoring and after defender Tim Rome was sent off for a second cautioned offence, Mbeumo converted a penalty and then added a second to stoppage time.
