The Real Madrid defender has been approached by Saudi club Al-Nasr to sign him during this summer’s Mercato.
Literally a day before the start of the new season, Al-Alami are still looking for a high-quality defender to replace the outgoing Spaniard Alvaro Gonzalez, whose loan ended after the end of last season.
The victory made German defender Antonio Rüdiger one of the candidates to replace González, as Al-Alami had already started negotiations with him.
Real Madrid defender responds to Saudi Arabia’s offer to win
Ruediger still has a contract with the royal family, which is being extended until the summer of 2026, but the process of his departure before the expiration of his contract is not ruled out in light of the tempting offers he received.
On the sidelines of the event, the French newspaper Foot Mercato reported on Rudiger’s conversation about his future and goals with Al Maringhi, where he said: “I don’t feel like I’ve won everything. Actually, I want to win the Champions League with Real Madrid. This is one of my big goals.”
And he added: – “If I don’t win, it’s like reaching the age of 30, and I’m very thirsty.” Emphasizing that he continues to remain in the royal ranks and is not going to leave.
