According to a recent report by Football Insider, Real Madrid are willing to pay well for signing Rhys James.
Rhys James has long been one of the most sought-after cornerbacks on the planet. The 23-year-old has made a name for himself at Chelsea and while the club may be having a bad season, he is still highly regarded as one of the best English players in the game right now.
The report indicates that Real are willing to pay at least £90m for his transfer to La Liga. However, the Blues seem confident in their ability to keep the youngster.
The reason is that he signed a new contract back in September, according to which he will remain in the capital until at least 2028. Of course, circumstances can always change, but it’s hard to imagine him leaving right now.
