Qatar Al Rayyan has signed Brazilian striker Roger Ghidish of Corinthians to join the football first team for the new 2023-2024 season, without disclosing the length of the contract or the value of the deal.
Today, Wednesday, the Qatari club said in a statement published on its official website that the new striker is the third Brazilian to join the squad and he will be an excellent support for the front line, accompanied by Moroccan Sofiane. Bufal, Spaniard Rodrigo Moreno and another Brazilian Gabriel Pereira.

Giddish’s deal was Al Ryan’s fourth this summer after signing Moreno from Leeds United, Pereira (USA New York) and Thiago Mendez (Lyon, France).

Guedisch, 26, started his career at Brazilian club Criciuma before moving to Palmeiras in 2018 and being loaned out to Atlético Mineiro the same year before playing in the Chinese league with Shandong Luneng before 2021 to sign a contract with Corinthians, who have played in his ranks for the last two seasons and participated in 126 matches in various competitions.
Last Tuesday, Al-Rayyan completed a training camp in Austria, which he started on the 17th of last month, during which he played six friendly matches against Hungarian teams Honvéd, Saudi Al-Faihaa, Austrian Korneberg and Emirati Al – Faiha. Vasl, in addition to the first and second teams of the Italian club Udinese, in preparation for the league that will start against Al Markhiya on August 17 this year.
