    PSG Showing Interest in Manchester City’s Julián Alvarez

    Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Julian Alvarez from Manchester City in the summer transfer window. 90min. The report claims that the Argentine international striker is unhappy with his current playing time in the reigning Premier League champions and that PSG, last season’s Ligue 1 champions, want to transfer him to the Parc des Princes.

    City have offered Alvarez a new five-year contract with a higher salary, but it’s unclear if the 23-year-old will sign him. The young striker joined City in the summer of 2022 after spending the second half of last season on loan at River Plate. Alvarez won the 2022 World Cup in Qatar with Argentina, but he plays second fiddle to Norway striker Erling Haaland in City.

    Alvarez did six starts and 13 substitutions in the Premier League for City this season, scoring five goals in the process. The Argentina striker has also made four starts and made two UEFA Champions League substitutes for Pep Guardiola’s side this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
