Paris Saint-Germain are close to signing Milan Skriniar from Inter Milan before the transfer window closes in a few days, according to Fabrizio Romano. Otherwise, the contract linking Slovakia to the Nerazzurri expires at the end of the season, and the Serie A club is obviously looking to get at least some reward for the services of the 27-year-old defender.
An agreement between the two clubs appears to be close enough for Inter to start looking for a suitable replacement. One of the names on the list is Victor Lindelöf, but Manchester United are reluctant to let go of the Swede as this will force them in turn to make a quick search for a replacement.
After rising through the ranks at MSK Žilina in his home country, Skrinjar moved to Inter from Sampdoria in 2017 for a reported fee of €34m. Since then, he has made a total of 242 appearances for the club and has played a big role in their scudetto challenge in 2020/21, as well as the Coppa Italia in 2021/22 and the Italian Super Cup in 2021. /22 and 2022/23.
Inter are exploring options to replace Milan Skrinjar if an agreement is reached with PSG on a deal in January. 🔵 #transfers
