Brazilian star Vinicius Junior has received a strong message from Spanish League President Javier Tebas following an incident of racism against a Real Madrid player.
The Real Madrid star faced racist chants during his team’s clash with Valencia on Matchday 35 last Sunday in the 2022-23 Spanish Premier League.
And Vinnie received a red card during the match after contact with Hugo Duro, a Valencia player, as he grabbed him by the neck.
The Mestalla Stadium, Valencia’s stronghold, witnessed the team’s fans cheering for the Brazilian star of the Royal Club, who tolerated the hatred and racism towards the player, which as a result made him burst into tears.

Javier Tebas, President of the Association, was interested La Ligafrom a touching message of support to the samba star amid recent events.
Tebas stated: “When I was asked about Messi leaving, I said that Vinicius would stay in Spain. Everyone was surprised, but for me he will become the future owner of the Golden Ball.
He continued: “I am not saying this now because they are interviewing me or because of what happened in Valencia. He is the most important star for Real Madrid. I want him to stay in La Liga.”
He continued, “I didn’t mean to attack Vinicius, but if that’s how most people understood this tweet, then I need to apologize. I didn’t mean to attack him. I expressed my opinion badly at the wrong time.”
He concluded: “We love Vinnie, personally I love Vinicius. If my tweet caused misinterpretations because many people interpreted it differently, I must apologize. Nothing more”
