Harry Kane did not show up for pre-season training with Tottenham Hotspur, according to Sky Sports reporters at the gates of the Tottenham Training Ground in Hotspur Way on Monday morning. The striker was supposed to return from the holiday that followed his exploits with England at the European Championships, but he simply did not show up when he should have. So far the Spurs have refused to comment on the matter.

Kane’s future has been the subject of much speculation over the past couple of months, with Manchester City seriously interested in signing him and willing to pay a significant fee to do so. The Spurs, however, represented as usual by President Daniel Levy, have remained adamant that the England captain is not for sale for money. It appears that Kane may have decided to openly rebel against the club’s attempt to force him to stay, but some believe this may prompt Levy to bet even more on his legs.
???? “I think it will make him determined to keep Harry Kane now.” @MichaelBridge_ believes current news about Harry Kane’s future will cause Tottenham president Daniel Levy to want to keep his stellar forward even more.
