Fabrizio Romano claimed on Twitter that Arsenal are confident to sign Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion in the summer transfer window. The well-known and respected reporter said the Gunners are working on a deal with Premier League rivals Brighton to complete a move for the 23-year-old defender.
Romano, who works for SkySport and The Guardian, reported that White, who can also play as a right-back or midfielder, has already agreed personal conditions with Arsenal. The former Leeds United loaner is part of the English team at the current European Championship.

White did well during his loan spell at Leeds from Brighton in the 2019-20 season. The young Brit helped the whites to win automatic promotion from the championship. He then played an important role in Brighton by not relegating from the Premier League at the end of last season.
