Napoli striker Victor Osimhen is reserving the “right to take legal action” against his club after his team posted a bizarre video on TikTok appearing to ridicule the player.
The strange video emerged after Osimhen helped the Italian side win their first league title in three decades.
Despite single-handedly supporting Napoli with 31 goals in all competitions, Osimhen was the subject of a bizarre, now-deleted video posted on the Serie A club’s official TikTok account.
When you get to the official profile of Naples on the TikTok square, this is not acceptable. The film that makes fun of Victor is the first public release, and it, late in life, has been cancelled. Un Fatto Grace che Crea un danno serissimo al giocatore e si somma al trattamento…

Osimhen’s agent Roberto Calenda issued a statement on Tuesday evening regarding the incident.
He tweeted: “What happened today with the official Napoli profile on the TikTok platform is unacceptable. The video ridiculing Victor was first made public and then, belatedly, deleted.
“A serious fact that causes very serious harm to the player and compounds the treatment the boy has been subjected to in the last period between media trials and fake news.”
Kalenda added: “We reserve the right to take legal action and any useful initiative to protect Victor.”
The video showed a clip of the striker’s penalty miss in Sunday’s match against Bologna, with a strange, sped-up voice coming from above.
The strange video surfaced on social media after tensions arose between Osimhen and Napoli coach Rudi Garcia during the game.
The 24-year-old Nigerian striker was seen berating Garcia as he was substituted with four minutes remaining in the goalless draw.
The bizarre social media row comes after Osimhen, who attracted the attention of Manchester United this summer, failed to sign a new contract with the Italian side.
Osimhen’s current agreement runs until the summer of 2025.
