Pogba’s Arrival in Saudi Arabia Hinges on Sports Minister’s Personal Request

Saudi Arabia is still looking for Paul Pogba despite Italian coach Massimiliano Allegri announcing his Juventus team’s roster for the US tour, including the French star.

Pogba was already present during the last spell at Jeddah, leading some to confirm that he was close to moving to Al Ittihad or Al Ahli during the current summer transfer period.

Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has indicated that the Saudis have Pogba among their targets to sign him during the current summer transfer period at the request of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Faisal, the Saudi Minister of Sports, but on the condition that he returns to the stadiums again, especially since he has not yet started group training with his team.

The newspaper added that Saudi Arabia is willing to pay 30 million euros in 3 seasons wages for Pogba to turn him on, but the name of the team that the French star will join has not been revealed.

The cost of Pogba’s contract, which will be presented by Saudi Arabia, is estimated at 8 million euros per season, plus 2 million euros in bonuses, 10 million per season.
