Pedri Gonzalez sent a special message to Paulo Xavi, his Barcelona and Spain teammate, after he suffered a torn cruciate ligament in his knee.
Yesterday, the Barcelona youngster was injured while playing for Spain against Georgia in the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament yesterday.

Xavi left the field 26 minutes into the match in tears and pain due to an injury sustained in the match, initially diagnosed as a torn cruciate knee ligament.
Pedri expressed support for Xavi after injury
International player Pedri was keen to support Xavi, his close friend at Barcelona, after he suffered an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

Barcelona announced this morning that their player, after undergoing a full medical examination, has suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, as well as an injury to the outer cartilage of his knee.
How long will Xavi be out of the Barcelona squad after his injury?
According to the diagnosis announced by Barça regarding the injury of his player, the period of his absence will be between 8 and 9 months and thus mark the end of his current season.

He will also miss participation with the Spanish national team in the upcoming European Championships and Olympic Games – the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
