French football club Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed the absence of their star striker Kylian Mbappe against Bayern Munich in the first leg of the Champions League final tournament.

And the Parisian club said in a statement on its official website that medical examinations showed that Mbappe had a left thigh muscle injury that would keep him out of action for 3 weeks.

Kylian Mbappe was injured during the match between Paris Saint-Germain and his hosts Montpellier (3-1) last night, Wednesday, in the 21st round of the French League, and he was forced to leave the stadium 21 minutes after start.

Thus, Mbappe will not participate in the match of Bayern Munich, which is scheduled for February 14 at the Princes Park stadium.
