Chelsea will announce their new permanent manager at some point this week, according to a recent report from The Athletic.
This season, it’s safe to say, has been a hectic one for Chelsea Football Club. In addition to an incredibly poor record on the pitch, they have also changed four managers including Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter, Bruno Saltor and Frank Lampard. Right now, the Blues are just watching and waiting for the end of the campaign to finally come.
As for who they might announce next, Mauricio Pochettino has been seen as the front runner for some time now. It’s unusual to think that he would take on the task of moving to another London club given his time at Tottenham Hotspur, but it’s certainly plausible.
Pochettino has a lot of potential as a manager while Chelsea really can’t afford to make a mistake in their next manager appointment.
