Advisor Mortada Mansour commented on the decision of the Egyptian Ministry of Youth and Sports to dismiss him from the post of president of the Zamalek football club.
Earlier Thursday, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, led by Ashraf Sobhi, issued an official decision to remove Mortada Mansour from the position of president of the Zamalek club, pursuant to the ruling of the Administrative Court considering the position of president of the White Castle is free.
Last Sunday, the Office of State Commissioners at the Administrative Court released a court report recommending that Mortada Mansour’s membership on the Zamalek board of directors be terminated after he was jailed on appeal for insulting and slandering President Mahmoud Al-Khatib. Al Ahly Club.
Commenting on the decision of the Ministry of Sports, Mortada Mansour confirmed in statements to the Cairo 24 website that “the ministry should be on vacation today, like the rest of the state bodies, and therefore what is the reason for issuing such a quick decision of (Minister of Sports) Ashraf Sobha, which makes his position strange.”
Mortada Mansour confirmed that he will not remain silent in the face of such issues, especially since there are attempts to impede the movement of the club.
