Egyptian Mohamed Elneni, Arsenal midfielder, commented on the extension of his contract with Arsenal until next season with the Gunners.

Al-Nani has joined Arsenal since January 2016 and has performed at an outstanding level under various coaches who have taken over the London club, with his contract reportedly expiring in February of this year.

Today, Tuesday, he announced a one-season extension to his Arsenal contract until June 2024, despite a hamstring injury that will keep him out of action for the remainder of the season.

Mohamed Elneni, via his personal Twitter account, commented on the renewal of his contract, saying: “A new chapter is starting in my journey with Arsenal, I have just signed a new contract.”

Elneni added: “For me, Arsenal is not just a club that I joined 7 years ago, which makes me the oldest player in the current team.”
