Mohamed Salah stands firm in his loyalty to Liverpool despite Saudi connections

Mohamed Salah’s agent has dismissed rumors linking the Liverpool striker with a move to Saudi Arabia as the 31-year-old is “remained committed” to the club.

A report in the Middle East claimed that negotiations were under way between Egypt and Al Ittihad for a deal reportedly worth more than £155m over two years for the player.

Salah’s former teammate Fabinho has already signed for Al Ittihad this summer for £40m.

In this context, the £60m fee touted by Salah, who has scored 139 goals in 231 Premier League appearances, seems to underestimate a player with just 12 months on a three-year deal, which is the most lucrative contract in Liverpool’s history. .

And Salah’s spokesman insists the former Chelsea and Roma striker has no plans to leave Anfield.

“If we had decided to leave Liverpool this year, we would not have renewed the contract last summer. Mohamed remains committed to the LFC,” Salah’s agent Rami Abbas tweeted.
