Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, an English player for Liverpool, has drawn level with France’s Thierry Henry, a former Arsenal player, after his goal for the Reds in the Europa League.
Salah was able to lead Liverpool to a three-to-one victory over counterparts LASK in the opening week of the 2023/24 Europa League.

The Egyptian star managed to score the Reds’ third goal in the 88th minute of the match after a pass from Darwin Nunez.
With this win, Liverpool topped their group with 3 points after their first win of the tournament.

Mohamed Salah equals Thierry Henry’s record at the European Championships

The Egyptian star scored 42 goals in major European competitions for Liverpool – the most of any player at an English club.
This puts Salah equal to Thierry Henry during his time at Arsenal.
