British reports said Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, Liverpool’s top scorer and Egypt captain, was close to winning a new English Premier League honour.
The Premier League has announced the nominees for the Premier League Player of the Month award for October, with the Egyptian Pharaoh competing against Declan Rice, Pedro Neto, Brian Mbwemo as well as Douglas Lewis.

According to Anfield Talk, Liverpool striker Mo Salah won the Player of the Month award for October ahead of the Premier League’s official announcement.
The Egyptian star managed to score 5 goals in October for Liverpool in the English Premier League tournament, scoring a brace against Brighton and the same goal against Everton, as well as a goal against Nottingham Forest.
Salah previously won the English Premier League Player of the Month in November 2017, February 2018, March 2018 and October 2021.
