And the Saudi Minister of Tourism announced in May 2022 that Messi had become the Saudi Tourism Ambassador.
Messi has previously visited Saudi Arabia several times, most recently last year, and his first visit to the Kingdom was in 2011 when he led his country in a friendly against Saudi Arabia at the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh.
Notably, Messi has recently been linked with a move to several clubs in the Saudi league led by Al-Hilal.
Messi’s contract with his current team, Paris Saint-Germain, expires at the end of the current season.
