Mbappe subjected to insulting remarks by Paris Saint-Germain president

    Press reports showed an insulting statement by Paris Saint-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi against French star Kylian Mbappe, the team’s player, during the presentation of Gonzalo Ramos’ new contract.

    The Parisian club have signed 22-year-old Portuguese striker Gonçalo Ramos from Benfica on a one-year loan with a mandatory repurchase next summer.

    Spanish newspaper Marca highlighted Al-Khelaifi’s statement during the presentation of new striker Gonzalo Ramos, saying: “These are the players we want to see in the future of our organization.”

    This is a reference to the French star who refused to renew his contract, which expires in the summer of 2024, to leave despite the Parisian club’s commitment to his stay to develop the club’s future project.
