Mane suffered a right leg injury during Bayern’s 6-1 victory over Werder Bremen on 8 November and underwent surgery that kept him out of his country’s participation in the World Cup, which began 12 days after the failure.
Bayern manager Julian Nagelsmann said earlier this month that Mane could return “earlier” than expected, which could prepare him to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final tournament.
He explained: “If things go well, he may attend the match against Paris”, adding that there is “a small chance that Mane will take part in the first leg” in the French capital on February 14 before the two teams meet again. Munich, 8 March.
Mane will not be participating with league leaders Bayern against their guest Cologne today, Tuesday, in the 17th round of the Bundesliga.
