    Manchester United to pay £34.5m for Benjamin Pavard’s services.

    Manchester United have to pay €40m (£34.5m) plus bonuses for Bayern Munich defender Benjamin Pavard in the summer transfer window. 90min. Pavard wants to leave Bayern and wants to join former Premier League and UEFA Champions League winners United.

    The Red Devils are in talks with Bayern over a deal for Pavard. United are willing to pay €35m (£30m) for the France defender, but Bayern are seeking €40m (£34.5m) plus bonuses. Pavard is unhappy with the Bundesliga champions’ position and already has a principled personal relationship with United.

    Pavard has been on Bayern’s list since 2019 and has so far won the Bundesliga title four times and the UEFA Champions League once during his time at the Allianz Arena. The defender also won the 2018 World Cup with France and helped his team reach the final of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
