Manchester United secures thrilling win against Nottingham in the English Premier League

Manchester United turned a two-goal gap into a valuable 3-2 home win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday in week three of the English Premier League.

Nottingham surprised the hosts with two goals scored by Taio Onii and Willy Boly in the 2nd and 4th minutes, but United rose and turned the tide with three goals signed by Christian Eriksen (17), Casemiro (52), and Bruno Fernandez from penalties (76).

Nottingham ended the match with ten men starting in the 67th minute after Joe Worrall was sacked for interfering with United’s Bruno Fernandez, who was alone with the Nottingham goalkeeper.

With this result, Manchester United raised their lead to 6 points in fifth place, while Nottingham’s balance sheet froze at 3 points in 13th place.
