Manchester United announced today, Tuesday, the contract extension of their player Luke Shaw until the summer of 2027.
Luke Shaw’s contract with Manchester United expired in the summer of 2024 before being renewed for 3 new seasons.
The German’s official statement reads: “Manchester United are delighted to announce that Luke Shaw has signed a new contract until June 2027.”
Shaw has made 249 appearances for Manchester United since joining Southampton in 2014.

Shaw said in statements on the club’s official website after signing a new contract: “9 years ago I signed with this great team. I am happy to extend my contract. I’ve grown a lot since I came to Manchester.”
He added: “We are at the beginning of our journey under Ten Hag and his coaching staff. We have already been successful this season, but we want more and we have a great opportunity to do something special.”
Notably, the 27-year-old Manchester United defender has made 249 appearances for the Red Devils in the various competitions the team has competed in since moving from Southampton in 2014.
Manchester United are fifth in the English Premier League table with 50 points from 27 matches.
