Manchester City right-back Kyle Walker will sign a new contract with the club, according to Fabrizio Romano. An Italian journalist reported on Twitter that Walker told City he was staying and didn’t want to move to Bundesliga champions Bayern in the summer transfer window.
Romano said Walker is expected to sign a new contract with City by the end of next week. The 33-year-old right-back has been with the Nationals since 2017 and his contract with the Premier League champions expires at the end of next season. Walker helped Pep Guardiola’s team win the Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League last season.
