    Manchester City Eyeing Southampton Midfielder Romeo Lavia

    Manchester City are interested in signing Romeo Lavia from Southampton in the summer transfer window. Football insider. The defending Premier League champions sold Lavia to the Saints in the summer of 2022 and are looking to bring the defensive midfielder back to the Etihad Stadium.

    City reportedly have a buy-out clause in the deal and could sign the 19-year-old for £40m. A number of Premier League clubs are showing interest in the teenager, but City are in an advantageous position for the defensive midfielder and could make a buyout decision.

    Manchester City are currently second in the Premier League table with 58 points from 26 matches, five points behind leaders Arsenal. Meanwhile, Southampton are currently second in the league table with 21 points from 25 matches, just one point behind 17th-placed Leeds United.
