The Red Bird group, which owns Milan, sacked Maldini after last season due to disagreements.
Paolo Maldini helped Milan win the Italian title in the 2021-2022 season, and a year later he left the management of the Rossoneri.
Ittihad Jeddah FC is aiming to retain the Roshan League title it won last season as it prepares to compete in the Club World Cup next December.
