Real Madrid are keen to extend the contract of Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos in order to stay with the team, having shown a good level in the recent period.
Ceballos stays at Real Madrid
Journalist Tomás González has confirmed Ceballos wants to stay at Real Madrid and will not leave unless the club wants to sell him.
ABC website indicated Ceballos will wait for an extension offer from Real Madrid until the last moment.
Ceballos refuses offers made to him
Reporter Mario Cortegana (The Atlantic) reported: Dani Ceballos turned down an offer from Atlético Madrid during the international break.
He is only considering a contract extension with Real Madrid, the club has not contacted him and has not made a final decision on him.
He will continue to wait for the royal offer, and if the offer does not come, his priority will be to stay in Spain.
And the English site 90min has confirmed that Wolverhampton are looking to sign Ceballos for the Mercato next summer.
ABC confirmed Real Madrid will offer Ceballos a three-year contract in June, with the player’s priority being to renew it with the club.
Ceballos did not ask for a one-euro salary increase during the renewal talks, he just wants a bigger role in the team and he will if he is promised a bigger role in the coming seasons.
It is worth noting that Ceballos has played 23 matches for the Royal Club this season, in which he scored one goal and gave six assists.
