Romelu Lukaku is hard at work to get his career back on track this season, playing on loan at Inter Milan after his season at Chelsea went much worse than he expected.
It has already been decided that he will not stay at Giuseppe Meazza last summer, but according to The Telegraph, the striker will be asked to decide for himself whether he wants to try to revive his Chelsea career under Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine tactician is set to be confirmed as the new manager at Stamford Bridge and will take up his duties in June.
The 29-year-old Belgian hasn’t done much since returning to Inter at the start of the season, scoring just nine goals in 26 appearances in all competitions for Simone Inzaghi’s side. However, it must be said that due to three different injuries, he has missed a total of 15 games this season.
For the time being, Lukaku remains focused on finishing the season successfully as Inter struggle to finish in the top four and prepare to face city rivals Milan in the Champions League semi-finals.
