Romelu Lukaku achieved a historic achievement for Belgium after scoring a super hat-trick against Azerbaijan in the European Nations’ Euro 2024 qualifier.
Lukaku scored a super hat-trick against Azerbaijan in the 17th, 26th, 30th and 37th minutes to lead his country to a 5-0 victory yesterday, Sunday, in the eighth and final round of the European Championships nations. qualifiers
Lukaku entered his 113th match with 79 goals to his name and, with his quadruple first-half goals, surpassed Robert Lewandowski (81 goals) as his country’s top scorer.

Lukaku also became the first player in history to score four goals in one half for Belgium.
Lukaku equaled Emirati Ali Mabkhout’s tally of goals with 83 goals in 112 appearances to become the seventh all-time top goalscorer in international football.
The Belgium national team will play a friendly match against England in 4 months in March next year as part of the teams’ preparation for the Euro 2024 finals of European nations, which will be held in Germany.
