Croatian star Luka Modric, a Real Madrid player, is a few steps away from deciding his future at the Royal Club after leaving accounts with Carlo Ancelotti, the team’s coach, and stepping away from full-time involvement.
The Croatian star has a contract with the Merengues, which expires in the summer of June 2024.
Modric has played as a substitute for Real Madrid in most of their matches this season and was able to provide one assist for Bellingham in the Spanish League.
Statements from Luka Modric’s agent about the player’s future at Real Madrid
Borja Cocchi, the agent of Croatian Luka Modric, said in statements to the press: “This summer there was interest in Modric with a view to signing him. He had several offers, from the capital club and another club Saudi Arabia.”
He continued his speech by saying: “Modrić is currently thinking about Real Madrid, but the idea of him moving to the Saudi League is possible if the offer is suitable.”
Luka Modric in the Saudi League’s sights
Journalist Jose Felix Diaz previously mentioned that Saudi clubs are keen to include the Croatian player in the upcoming winter transfer period.
This comes after Modric lost his position on the pitch for the Merengues due to the presence of young players such as Camavinga, Shuamini and Valverde, forcing him to seriously consider leaving.
