Louis Saha: ‘Manchester United need four more signings to challenge for titles’

Louis Saha declares that Manchester United need four more signings in order to challenge for major prizes when again.

Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has claimed that the Red Devils need four more signings in order to challenge for major prizes when again.

United relieved the pressure on head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with an outstanding 3-1 win at Everton on Saturday afternoon, however the club will get in the international break down in 14th position in the Premier League table.

Saha has stated that the 20-time English champions are still some way off fighting for titles, with the Frenchman firmly insisting that four more players of a comparable quality to Bruno Fernandes are required to assist the club return to former magnificences.

“The focus is on Solskjaer. But you also have to look at the recruitment. Some new signings like Fred, you can see the quality but he’s not going to make the difference,” Saha informed Arena Astro.

“The signing of Fernandes, you need four of them. You need four of them to actually compete and this is what is missing.”

United, who ended up third in last season’s Premier League table, will be looking to make it back-to-back wins when they invite West Bromwich Albion to Old Trafford on November 21.
