Moroccan international Naif Akrad, a defender for English football club West Ham United, is receiving strong interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, according to newspaper reports.
British newspaper The Sun has indicated that Liverpool are believed to be the team most interested in player Nayef Akrad, given that German Jurgen Klopp, the Reds’ technical director, is keen to rebuild his defensive line following a midfield overhaul within the Reds. Mercato last summer with new deals.
The newspaper explained that the quality of Nayef Akrad (27) attracted the attention of Klopp, who suffers from the advanced age of Dutch center backs Virgil van Dijk and Cameroonian Joel Matip (32 each).
The Sun reported that the Moroccan defender could have moved to the Saudi League this summer, but talks fell through.

Although the verified West Ham Transfers account on the X platform also states that Naif Akrad has received 4 offers to leave West Ham this summer, two from Saudi Arabia and two from Europe, he has informed the clubs of his reluctance to leave West Ham .
