Milan are interested in signing Jonathan David from Lille in the January transfer window, reports Fishages. The report claims that former Serie A and UEFA Champions League winners AC Milan are keen to sign the striker mid-season and that David is on their radar.
David is one of the best young strikers in Europe and has produced excellent results over the years. The 23-year-old has scored 25 goals in 42 international appearances for Canada during his career. David has scored two goals in five Ligue 1 matches this season. Last season, the youngster scored 24 goals and provided four assists in 36 Serie A matches for Lille.
Milan currently sit third in the Serie A table with nine points from four matches, three points behind leaders and city rivals Inter. Meanwhile, Lille currently sit sixth in the Ligue 1 table with eight points from five matches, three points behind leaders Monaco.
