Leicester Eyeing Benitez as Possible Addition to Their Ranks – Latest Football Updates

According to a recent report by The Independent, Rafa Benítez could become Leicester City’s interim manager.

Now that Brendan Rodgers has left the club, Leicester have begun looking for a new boss. Thomas Frank and Graham Potter are thought to be long-term choices after the end of the season, but for now the priority is to bring in someone who can ensure the Foxes’ survival in the Premier League.

Martin O’Neill, who has won the League Cup twice with the club, is one option. However, he has not held any position since leaving Nottingham Forest in the summer of 2019.

On the other hand, Rafa Benitez could be available after being sacked by Everton last January.

There is no denying that the former Liverpool manager has a lot of experience at this level. However, the big question is whether he is the right person to help Leicester through a tough relegation streak.
