According to multiple reports, Leeds United are close to appointing Javi Gracia as their new manager. The final details of a proposed contract between the Premier League club and the 52-year-old tactician are currently being discussed, and a positive conclusion to the talks seems imminent.
Earlier this month, Leeds sacked Jesse Marsh following poor results that put the team in danger of relegation at the end of the season. They are currently second from the wrong end of the table with just 19 points from 23 matches and only Southampton below.
Gracia already has managerial experience in England, managing the team at Watford from January 2018 to September 2019. After that, he spent a season at Valencia and six months at Qatari side Al Sadd.
