Kylian Mbappe seems to have put an end to all speculation about his future, at least as far as this summer is concerned. As reported by Sport, the French international has made it perfectly clear that he still dreams of winning the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain.
Mbappe’s contract with the Ligue 1 giants is less than a year to go, but PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has already expressed a firm stance on not selling their most valuable player this summer.
After winning the 2018 World Cup with France, the 22-year-old is determined to add the most prestigious trophy in club football to his collection, and he wants to do so wearing the PSG shirt. PSG came very close in 2019-20, losing the final to Bayern Munich by just one goal, and reached the semi-final in 2020-21, when he was eliminated by two legs from Manchester City.
Real Madrid have been heavily tied to Mbappe in the last two windows, but the Spanish giants’ finances have been hit too hard by the ongoing pandemic to make such a move at this point.
