Toni Kroos named his Real Madrid teammate Federico Valverde as one of the “best three” players in the world.
Valverde continued his sensational start to the season on Sunday by scoring the Creamy’s second goal in their 3-1 Clasico triumph over Barcelona at the Santiago Bernabéu.
After failing to score in 31 La Liga games last season, Valverde has scored four goals in nine games this season.
The good strike from the Uruguayan was the first goal Real Madrid scored at home against Barça from outside the box since Raúl did so in the 1998-99 season.
Fede Valverde is now in the top three in the world

Kroos has no doubts about Valverde’s reputation in world football, with the former Germany international praising his teammate on social media.
In a tweet, Kroos said: “Fede Valverde is now in the top 3 in the world.”
Karim Benzema had previously given Los Blancos the lead against Barcelona before a clean 20-yard shot from Valverde doubled their lead.
Ferran Torres recovered the ball for Barça with seven minutes left, but Rodrigo restored the hosts’ two-goal lead in stoppage time from a penalty after being fouled by Eric Garcia.
The win saw Real Madrid three points clear of their great rivals at the top of La Liga.
