Frenchman Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain has sparked controversy over his move to Real Madrid.
Kylian’s name was linked with a move to Los Blancos during the last summer transfer window, but Real Madrid have not made a formal bid for the player and speculation over his inclusion in the winter of 2024 has intensified.
On the other hand, France faced their Gibraltar counterparts on Saturday evening in the penultimate round of the 2024 European Championship qualifiers.
At the Allianz Riviera Stadium in Nice, the French Rooster team won in a big way with a score of fourteen goals to zero over the guest Gibraltar.
Kylian Mbappe defines his position on moving to Real Madrid
Kylian spoke during press statements on French channel TF1’s Telefoot program on Sunday about his injured colleague, saying: “Zaire Emery is ready and I know very well what it means to start a career early.”
He continued: “What Zaire Emery is going through right now is not easy, so his talent needs to be recognized at an early age.”
He added: “We have to encourage him on the pitch. He knows his responsibilities and will improve because he works under great coaches.”
He continued: “We must accompany him on the field and protect him off it. We must not talk to him, but only let him do his job.”
Notably, PSG’s Warren Zaire Emery scored in his first first-team appearance last night but injured his right ankle and is out for the rest of the year.
Mbappe continued to talk about his future with the Paris team: “I really want us to talk about a team that is achieving very good results.”
He continued: “I hope that we will talk more about the significant progress of the French team, rather than about a problem that will one day be solved.”
Kylian Mbappe added: “There will be time to talk about my decision regarding the contract.”
He concluded his joining Merengue Or stayed at Princes Park and he said: “I don’t want to talk about this issue (extension), especially since I already did it in June last year and it attracted more attention from the national team.”
