Klopp’s Firm Message to Real Madrid Prior to Highly-Anticipated Showdown

    Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp sent a strong message to Real Madrid ahead of their upcoming showdown in the Champions League round of 16 second leg on Wednesday.

    The match is scheduled to take place tonight at 10:00 pm Egyptian time and 11:00 Saudi time.


    The first leg at Anfield, the Reds’ stronghold, ended in a massive 5-2 win for Meringha.

    The English club hopes to take revenge on Real Madrid and achieve a positive result at the Santiago Bernabeu.

    Klopp sends strong message to Real Madrid hours before showdown

    Jurgen Klopp said in press statements: “Even if there is a 1% chance, we will try to win.”

    He continued: “We will face a strong opponent and we must try to defeat him. It is possible and that is why we have come here. Let’s see what happens.”

    He added: “If we can surprise ourselves in a negative way this season, we must surprise ourselves in a positive way.”

    And he continued by saying: “We are here (in Madrid) to win. I do not threaten Madrid, but we are here to win.”

    And he concluded by saying, “We have to show the best performance just to win, not even to cross the border, and that’s what we’re focused on.”
