    Jordan Pickford on the bench for Everton’s clash with Newcastle United

    England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford discovered himself called only amongst the replaces as Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti took him out of the shooting line at Newcastle.

    Pickford was lucky not to be sent for the obstacle which left Liverpool defender Virgil Van Dijk requiring knee surgical treatment in the 2-2 derby draw at Goodison Park on October 17, although he later on got the support of his manager over the event.
