The Qatar Football Association announced on Monday the appointment of Portuguese veteran Carlos Queiroz as Al-Annabi’s coach, replacing Spaniard Felix Sanchez.
The Qatari Federation wrote on its Twitter account: “Portuguese Queiroz is the coach of Al Annabi … All the best to the coach of the battalion of our national team.”

Queiroz, 70, is a veteran coach at the national team level, having led his country from 2008 to 2010, Iran and Colombia (2019-2020), Egypt (2020-2021) and Iran for his second term at the World Cup. “Qatar 2022”.
Last December, the Qatar Football Association announced it was parting ways with its coach, Spaniard Felix Sanchez, after he failed to take Al-Annabi to the second round of the World Cup recently hosted by Qatar.
