Israeli player signs agreement with Emirates team

Today, Friday, Emirati football club Al Ain announced on its official Twitter page that it had reached a preliminary agreement with the Israeli club Maccabi Haifa to sign player Omar Etziliy.

Omar Etzili is 29 years old, he was born in the city of Holon, near Tel Aviv, and began his football career in 2011 with Hapoel Rishon LeZion.

The Israeli player had professional experience with Spanish club Granada in 2016, but his experience did not last long as he moved to Israeli club Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Etzili played for Cypriot side APOEL Nicosia in 2020 before returning to Israel to play with Maccabi Haifa in 2021.

Omar Etzili has been playing for the Israeli national team since 2016.

Notably, Diaa Sabaa became the first Israeli player to turn professional in the UAE League since Al Nasr signed him in 2020.
