In a meeting between the two best players in English football, Manchester United won by one goal against Aston Villa. It was a competition, but in the end Erik ten Hag’s men crossed the finish line.

Unai Emery was able to do something really special with the boys from the second city, and thanks to this, they now have every chance to get to Europe. With that said, it certainly was a big reality check for them. They haven’t really been able to assert dominance the way they wanted to, and it will be interesting to see how they manage.

Even with all the injuries, suspensions and busy matches, Manchester United is still one of the best teams in England. They play like a serious team and they play like a team that feels confident. We’re not saying they’ll be fighting for the title next season, but we’re saying the sleeping giant is slowly starting to wake up.
