English club Liverpool are aiming to have a strong transfer season during the upcoming summer transfer period in order to readjust the team’s path again and return to active competition in the new season.

The Reds did not manage to have a good season as they were in fifth place before the end of the English Premier League, bringing the team closer to leaving the Champions League next season.

Liverpool need to lose their remaining two matches to Manchester United against Chelsea and Fulham and win the Reds in their remaining match to guarantee their Champions League qualification.

And newspaper L’Equipe reported that last summer the Liverpool administration was interested in the possibility of including Kylian Mbappe, taking advantage of tensions between the Frenchman and his club Paris Saint-Germain.

And the newspaper added: The Reds’ management saw that the inclusion of the player would be a losing battle for them due to the high salary the player receives.

The French star receives 6 million euros in monthly salary, which is 5 times Salah’s salary on his new contract with the English club, so the club’s management saw that this would cause a major crisis, and Salah may want to leave the ranks of the club.

The player’s contract with French side Paris Saint-Germain expires in the summer of 2024, and the player intends not to activate the extra season option.
