Haaland’s Manchester City are preparing to face their counterparts Liverpool at the Premier League Summit at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, November 25, for matchday 13 of the Premier League.
Manchester City leads the English Premier League standings with 28 points from 12 matches played.
And Liverpool are in second place with 27 points, equal to Arsenal.
City managed to win 9 matches, losing twice and drawing only one in English Premier League matches.
Haaland’s position on playing in the league against Liverpool
The Norwegian star was treated by Pep Guardiola, England coach, after he suffered a severe ankle injury during his country’s friendly between Norway and its counterpart, the Faroe Islands.
Norway confirmed in an official statement that the player was suffering from leg pain, and his absence from the match against Scotland in the Euro 2024 qualifier was also confirmed.
But according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Haaland’s injury will not affect his participation in the City squad against Liverpool in the next match.
He also confirmed the player’s availability, but Norway’s medical staff decided not to risk him and return to normal training with City in preparation for the meeting with the Reds.
