Haaland’s Agent Got a Response From Guardiola – And It Wasn’t Pretty!

Manchester City head coach Josep Guardiola has declined to comment on statements by his Norwegian player’s agent Erling Haaland about the possibility of the latter’s move to Real Madrid.

Guardiola said in statements covered by the Spanish newspaper AS on Friday, in a sarcastic response to Brazilian Rafaela Pimienta’s statements: “I don’t really have anything to say, I will never reply to it or comment on it.”

Earlier, Pimienta said in media statements: “Real Madrid has special things that make it a dream for all players and all questions in football remain open.”

She added: “Real Madrid always retains that charm of its own, especially in terms of the Champions League, which is also bigger than the Spanish League.”

And she continued, “We try to avoid negativity. We cannot wait and sit around doing nothing. Maybe they will call me because Haaland is showing up at high levels so we are waiting for the call to sign him.”

Erling Haaland joined Manchester City in the summer of 2022 from Borussia Dortmund, Germany for £51m and is linked to a contract with City extending until the end of June 2027.

The Norwegian star tops the list of top scorers in the English Premier League with 27 goals, nine goals clear of his nearest rival, English star Harry Kane, Tottenham Hotspur striker.

The Norwegian star has made 33 appearances for Manchester City this season, scoring 33 goals and providing 4 assists.
