Norwegian Erling Haaland, Manchester City striker, commented on the injury he received in his country’s national team.

The Citizens star picked up the injury while taking part in Norway’s friendly against the Faroe Islands, where he injured his ankle.
Norway released an official statement today, Saturday 18 November, announcing that the player was suffering from severe pain in his leg, but it was not a serious injury, and confirmed that he would miss Scotland’s next match.
Norway ensured they would not reach the final by finishing third in the group with 10 points, 6 points behind second-placed Scotland, while Spain and Scotland officially qualified.

Haaland will miss the Norwegian national team in the match against Scotland as part of the Euro 2024 qualification.
Earlier, the Norwegian wrote on his Twitter account: “Unfortunately, I will miss tomorrow’s match against Scotland. I wish the players success. Now is the time to heal and try to return as quickly as possible.”
As for Norway coach Solbakken, he said: “Unfortunately Erling will not be ready to play on Sunday, but we will not include a substitute. This is a good opportunity to introduce attacking players.”
Manchester City are preparing for a strong match against Liverpool on November 25 in the English Premier League.
