Griezmann’s position on joining Manchester United revealed by Fabrizio Romano

    The Atlético Madrid and Manchester United star’s name has been linked in the last few days as many Spanish newspapers have indicated that the English club have a strong desire to include the France international in the upcoming summer transfer period.

    Temptations went as far as trying to bring the player to Old Trafford with an offer that included doubling and tripling his current salary at Atlético Madrid.
    The 32-year-old Frenchman has a contract with Atlético until 2026, but… His release clause, worth €25m (£21.9m), could be seen as a window of opportunity for clubs who might be willing to sign him if the player gives the green light to do so.

    Fabrizio wrote via his official account on the X platform: “I understand that there is nothing in recent reports about Antoine Griezmann and Manchester United.”

    He added: “Griezmann already turned down a huge offer from Saudi Arabia in June because he only wants Atletico Madrid. He has no chance of moving now. Antoine’s only focus is on Atletico.”

    The French star has made 12 appearances for Atlético Madrid this season, scoring 12 goals and providing one assist.
